It is an auxiliary machine, which feeds caps to a vacuum capping machine. This sort of machinery is basically used to close glass jars.
The cap feeder features a funnel, adjustable in height, ending in a chute, along which the caps slide down towards the capping machine’s head.
Inside the hopper is a hollow disc having some magnets inside. Since the caps are metallic, they stick to the disc and are guided to the chute. The whole setup unscrambles the caps, too, so they become oriented before sliding down.
This cap feeder runs twist-off caps, also called lug caps, between 38 and 82mm in diameter, both inclusive. This kind of caps is commonly used in glass containers, vacuum closed.
A comprehensive range of products are vacuum sealed : jam, olives, tune fish, almond cream, tofu, mayonnaise, etc.
Made of stainless steel and aluminium.
Production rate : 50 caps per minute approx.
